Mario Gotze has been advised to move to the Premier League this summer by a current player in the English top flight - Southampton’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Gotze’s time at Borussia Dortmund looks to be running out, with the 2014 World Cup hero’s contract expiring at the end of the season.
It’s not thought that BVB bosses are willing to put a last minute offer on the table, especially given the current economic climate, for a player who has been with the club since he was just nine-years-old.
That means that Gotze will be left to find a new club in the summer, and a switch to the Premier League has been strongly mooted in the past.
