World Cup winner Mario Gotze has been advised to seek a summer move to Everton or West Ham in an effort to revive his career.
Compatriot Michael Rummenigge, who also won titles at Bayern Munich, admits he struggles to pinpoint just how Gotze went from a future world star to a player who will almost certainly fail to fulfill his potential.
The German flourished as a youngster at Borussia Dortmund before switching to rivals Bayern Munich. After three years he returned to Dortmund but has been hampered by fitness issues and a lack of form.
