A 1979 Panini sticker book has finally been completed 41 years after the collection began. John Moore has finally got his hands on every sticker in the book having failed to find 11 of the 594 total before his daughter Lauren stepped in to offer a helping hand.
The 52-year-old father of two rediscovered the project of late when he found the book in the loft, but it was Lauren who tracked down and purchased the final few online as a surprise.
Although they would have originally cost just 1p each, it took £30 to grab the last 11, but John’s delight shows that it was money well spent.
