Popular Perthshire cycling showcase returns to raise funds for new bridge

Perthshire. The Muthill Sportive made its return following an enforced break as a result of coronavirus pandemic restrictions last year.Starting and finishing at Muthill Parish Church, delighted organisers said 84 cyclists tackled the 84-mile Red route, while 66 participants took on the 31-mile Blue route, half a dozen chose the 12.8-mile Yellow course and 20 entrants, including many families, signed-up to the 3.7-mile Green route.Funds raised through previous Sportives have supported the successful completion of phase one of the Muthill to Crieff cycle path, which was constructed in 2016.
