Officers are searching for an 11-year-old boy who has gone missing after leaving home 'unexpectedly' yesterday evening. Police have now launched an appeal for help after Lyndon Brown vanished on Monday.
Dorset Police said the youngster was last seen at his home address on Arne Avenue, Poole at about 9pm on Monday. Officers are currently carrying out searches of the local area in a bid to find him, assisted by the NPAS helicopter.
The force has since released a description of the missing boy. He is described as white with short curly blonde hair. He was last seen wearing school trousers, a school shirt, a black Nike Puffa-style jacket and black Nike trainers.
