Police are urgently searching for a former teacher who has gone missing - but haven't confirmed if her young son is with her.

Lauren Pakeman, 32, has not been seen since 9am on Monday in the Loggerheads areas of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs. Staffordshire Police have not revealed if her nine-year-old son Nate was with her when she disappeared.

Lone parent Lauren, a trainee accountant, is described as being white and of medium build with brown, shoulder length hair. Police say they are urgently trying to find her.

A force spokesperson said: "We need your help in finding 32-year-old Lauren Pakeman, from Loggerheads. "She was last seen at around 9am on 14th September.
