A dangerous driver who led police on a lengthy high-speed chase had to be rammed to bring him to a halt, a shocking video has shown.
When Jordan Archer, 19, accelerated away from officers at more than twice the speed limit, it was the second time in days he failed to stop and was seen driving dangerously, Chronicle Live reports.
Dashcam footage captures shocking driving and near misses though Northumberland, starting in Blyth and going through Cramlington, Earsdon, North Tyneside, and ending up in North Shields.
Newcastle Crown Court heard Archer had driven so dangerously in Blyth four days earlier, around 8pm on February 4, police had to pull out of a chase on safety grounds.
