Police clamp down on speeding Shotts motorists following complaints from residents

Police have clamped down on speeding motorists in one area of Shotts.Following recent complaints from residents, officers from the Community Policing Team have been conducting road stops and speed checks in the areas of Dyfrig Street and Hunter Street.Working closely with North Lanarkshire Council and elected members, officers are able to identify areas of particular note regarding road safety and will be conducting checks at various locations throughout December to ensure road users are driving responsibly and within the law.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
