mirror.co.ukSeven police officers were injured as they were attacked with bricks and bottles while trying to clear an illegal block party - the latest in a series of violent incidents.
Footage shows officers being forced to retreat to safety as they were chased and missiles were launched at them on an estate in White City, west London, where dozens of partygoers were flouting the coronavirus lockdown.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the force was trying to break up an "unlicensed music event" when the officers were attacked on Friday night.
It is estimated that almost 200 police officers - many dressed in riot gear - were at the scene as two helicopters buzzed overhead.
