Police are appealing for dash cam footage after protesters glued themselves to their road as part of an environmental demonstration.
Officers arrested eleven people during the Insulate Britain protest at the Hale Four Seasons roundabout, close to the M56 on Tuesday (November 2).
Traffic was brought to a standstill when the group blocked the road and glued their hands to the tarmac not far from Manchester Airport.
GMP said the ‘majority’ of protesters had glued themselves to the road and were removed by officers and detained on suspicion of causing danger to road-users (section 22a of Road Traffic Act).
