Plans to alter the road layout on Causeyside Street will ruin the “best street there is in Paisley” according to the owner of a respected business there.Kenneth Fallon, owner of Kenneth Edwards Salon has been operating in the area for 33 years and says he knows a thing or two about the town, having lived there his whole life.Kenneth fears that the plans for the redevelopment of Causeyside Street will lead to fewer clientele being able to access the businesses along the road, instead of more, as is the council’s intention with the plans.Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.

I’m not averse to change, but to change everything that's down here just to get two cycle lanes in and because that's all this is about.
That's not what the clients want, and any good business has to listen to their demographic.“I don't know if there’s been any surveys done, there might be an odd one or two in favour, but if you take the ratio of people who want to travel by car, albeit, it might not be the best for the planet and all that stuff.
