Pioneering 'green' train pulls in to Lanarkshire ahead of COP26 summit

A next-generation battery-powered train arrived in Lanarkshire as part of a showcase of 'green' trains ahead of the COP26 summit.Vivarail shared a first image of its train arriving at PD Stirling’s depot at Mossend last Friday.

As part of Network Rail’s 'Green Trains @ COP' event, Vivarail will be running a daily showcase run out of Glasgow Central. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
