Brits have something to look forward to amid the coronavirus lockdown with the biggest and brightest supermoon of the year set to appear next week.
On the night of April 7, the pink supermoon will fill the sky and be closer to the earth than the average moon. The moon, which is sometimes called a "Paschal full moon" will be 356,907 km from Earth, closer than the earth-moon which is at a distance of 384,400 km, reports Forbes.
In the UK, the pink supermoon will be noticeable in the early long periods of Tuesday (April 8) morning. Viewed from the UK, the full moon will be fully illuminated by the sun at about 3.35am BST.
