Piers Morgan has aimed another swipe at both Amber Heard and Meghan Markle, saying the women "whine" and "play the victim".The 57-year-old star made the comments on his Twitter account.He wrote: "Amber Heard is like Meghan Markle - the more she whines & plays the victim, utilising her best acting skills, the less I believe her."He recently hit out at 36-year-old Amber after she claimed the social media representation of her trial against Johnny Depp, 59, had not been fair.The former Good Morning Britain presenter said: "The jurors didn’t read any of the social media stuff, they listened to the evidence and concluded she was lying."I suggest it’s time for Ms Heard to stop playing the victim."Seven jurors unanimously found that Heard had defamed Depp in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed she wrote titled "I spoke up against sexual violence – and faced our culture’s wrath.
That has to change".Although Depp is not mentioned by name, he sued Heard for $50million (£41m), with his lawyers arguing that the article falsely inferred he was abusive during his marriage to Heard.Heard countersued Depp for $100m (£83m), saying he created a "smear campaign" against her.Jurors awarded Depp $10m (£8.3m) in compensatory damages and a further $5m (£4.1m) in punitive damages.Heard was also awarded $2m (£1.7m) in compensatory damages in relation to comments from Depp's lawyer Adam Waldman where he called Heard's abuse allegations a "hoax".Last year, Piers left his presenting role on GMB after saying he "didn't believe a word" Meghan, 40, had said, following her interview with talk show host Oprah Winfrey.In the interview, Meghan claimed she faced mental health struggles whilst living as a member of the royal family.The next morning, Piers told GMB.
