Forth Bridge that was meant to last 25 years is starting to peel after just nine.When workmen finished the £130million 10-year contract in 2011, they were hailed for completing the job that never ends.So advanced was the technique, bosses boasted the work would last a quarter of a century.But now a train traveller's photo appears to show paint peeling off the landmark.
The 45-year-old from Fife said: “I was coming over the bridge and took a picture of the sea.“I didn’t realise I’d taken a picture of the girders until I checked my phone but you can see paint peeling.
