Jamie Carragher is not sure a potential centre-back partnership with Aymeric Laporte and Nathan Ake at Manchester City will work next season due to the similarities between the pair.
City have had a £41m bid for Ake accepted by Bournemouth, and it looks only a matter of time until the Dutch defender makes the switch to the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola's side have struggled at the back at times this season, and the Catalan manager is clearly acting swiftly to try to solve the issue.
