This Morning host Phillip Schofield appeared on the famous sofa alongside Josie Gibson and welcomed guest Colin Craig-Brown.Colin appeared on the show via video link with his gourd named Doug, which donned a pair of sunnies as they chatted away to the TV hosts to talk about the bombshell news that his gourd was not a spud. The 7.9kg tuber was on track to be the world's largest potato, but it turned out that it was a different vegetable all together after a sample was sent to the UK for DNA testing. As Colin appeared on the show to chat about the unfortunate turnaround, he began ranting and let a banned word slip through the net.

He said: "It was a bit of a deflation, you know, to find out he wasn't a potato, but hey, as you walk along through life you get these sh***y sandwiches, someone packs them in your lunchbox." The quip took Phil and Josie by surprise as they both started to chuckle before Phil apologised profusely, with Josie adding: "Sorry about that!", before moving on.

Phil may have immediately apologised for the quip, but viewers certainly noticed and they couldn't help but be in absolute hysterics.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: "Sh***y sandwiches! I LOVE HIM."While another said: "We need more of Colin, he's brilliant.
