He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Holly Willoughby pulls out of This Morning AGAIN – a week after being forced off with coronavirus

HOLLY Willoughby has pulled out of presenting This Morning again - a week after being forced off with coronavirus. The 41-year-old missed out on the Dancing on Ice semi-final last weekend, with co-host Phillip Schofield going solo.

She was then replaced by presenters Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond on This Morning. Holly had mostly remained silent on social media about her illness, although updated fans about her Wylde Moon brand throughout the week.

But two days ago she posted a snap of her in the garden soaking up the sun, telling fans: "Just what the doctor ordered." It had given fans hope she would return today, but Phillip opened the show with Josie this morning.

He said: "I've been texting Holly all through the weekend and she's absolutely fine but has that incredibly persistent and annoying red line that won't go away.
