Martin Lewis has donated thousands of his own many after what he described as a 'depressing' appearance on This Morning. The MoneySavingExpert founder appeared on the ITV daytime show on Thursday (March 17) to take viewers' calls alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Phillip Schofield ahead of the energy-price rise next month and amid the current Cost of Living crisis.
But despite dishing out his best bits of advice for those worrying about the upcoming gas and electricity bills rise from and introduction of the energy price cap, Martin still wasn't happy.
Following his segment on the show, the 49-year-old took to Twitter and said it was actually "bloody depressing" because he is running out of ways to help before the prices go up. "Bloody depressing @thismorning phone-in again.
