This Morning star Alison Hammond was forced to put her glasses on during the ITV show after she stumbled over her words. Co-host Phillip Schofield asked crew members to bring the autocue closer to them so that Alison could read it, but he was left laughing after she struggled again.

Alison, 47, told viewers at home that she didn't "know what was wrong" with her as she explained she needed her glasses. But she got rid of them when Phil asked the behind-the-scenes staff to bring the cameras and autocue closer to help out Alison. It didn't seem to help though, as, after taking off her specs, Alison stumbled over her words once again – despite the closer autocue.Alison explained that she'd been having trouble reading the autocue since the start of the show, which was why she'd put her glasses on.She said: "Welcome back to This Morning, now you're not seeing double."I've actually got my glasses on because I couldn't see, I couldn't see the autocue today."I don't know what's the matter with me.
