Phillip Schofield has revealed he's deleted the Twitter app from his phone.The 60-year-old presenter was back on our screens on Tuesday (April 26) to present This Morning alongside Holly Willoughby.During the latest instalment of the ITV daytime show, Phillip revealed that he no long has the application on his mobile because he wants "no part of it" in his life.He joined Twitter back in 2009 and boats 4.4million followers on the micro-blogging site.Phillip's account remains active despite him branding the social media platform "a cesspit" and pointed out that there are "vile and disgusting" trolls online.Discussing Elon Musk buying Twitter, and the suggestion that all users may have to be verified, Phillip said: "There's the side of the argument where, if you're gonna say something, make sure you can back it up with your own name."If that isn't the case, then it could become even more of a cesspit than it already is.
