This Morning host Phillip Schofield jumped in to defend former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham on yesterday's (Tuesday May 17) show.Victoria has recently described her desire to be very thin and during a debate on the show Phillip said that she is allowed to be however she wants to be.The star, 48, has speculated that these days people now want to be curvy with the launch of her new VB Body shape-wear collection. She has told Grazia magazine: “It's an old-fashioned attitude, wanting to be really thin.

Is there a shift now?”Phillip quickly pulled up on the fact that Victoria is very thin and he said: “Says the incredibly thin Victoria Beckham.”To which journalist Camilla Tominey agreed with Phillip and she said that was “the problem”, before she went on to add that she didn’t want to be “thin-shaming”.She said: “This is somebody that eats grilled fish and steamed vegetables for every meal, so I get what she’s trying to say but I think it’s a bit rich for Victoria Beckham to be thinking about body image when she hasn’t always projected this idea of a woman that loves her food.”However Holly and Phil jumped in to defend Victoria and said “She’s allowed to be whatever she wants to be.”As a result Camilla said: “As a mother of daughters, I find some of this celebrity imagery of perfection is unattainable for a lot of young.
