Philippe Coutinho had the world at his feet just two years ago. He'd completed a dream £142million transfer to Barcelona from Liverpool, and was tipped to be the long-term replacement for Andres Iniesta.
But things immediately started to go wrong for the Brazilian. After a poor start, Coutinho found himself slipping down the pecking order in Spain, until eventually he was no longer a first team starter.
Fans then began getting on his back, before rumours he could leave Barcelona after just one year emerged. Coutinho wouldn't complete a permanent move last summer, but he would leave for Bayern Munich - penning a loan deal with the German giants to try and rectify his failing career just a few months after it peaked.
