When UEFA and representatives of its 55 countries meet on Tuesday to discuss the coronavirus pandemic, one of the main points of order will be whether to postpone this summer's Euro 2020 championships.
With most countries in Europe taking the steps to restrict large gatherings and postpone their football leagues for the time being, it seems unfeasible that these competitions can be completed before Euro 2020 begins in June - especially following UEFA's decision to suspend the Champions League and Europa League, followed by FIFA's announcement that clubs should not release players for this month's international break.
