Manchester City may not have had the Premier League season they were hoping for, but the emergence of some means the future appears bright.
City have a star-studded side but some have called for them to freshen up a squad that has, at times, looked stale this campaign.
Perhaps the freshening-up is already at their doorstep with Phil Foden potentially leading the way. The young Englishman has long been touted to be David Silva’s replacement and given how the Spaniard is leaving at the end of the season, it’s now or never.
