Doyle came on as a second half substitute to make his first league appearance for City, and only his third senior game overall.
Under-23 captain Doyle has been involved in first team training since the Premier League re-start after the academy season was curtailed, and he was rewarded with some Premier League minutes towards the end of City's 5-0 win over Newcastle.
Speaking after the game, life-long City fan Doyle couldn't hide his delight at achieving a goal of his since childhood, explaining how he has been determined to make the most of his opportunity in.
