Cult of Love, the upcoming new Broadway play by Star Wars: The Acolyte writer and showrunner Leslye Headland, will feature a cast that includes Shailene Woodley (Big Little Lies), Zachary Quinto (American Horror Story), and Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria), producers announced today.

Rebecca Rubin Senior Film and Media Reporter Shailene Woodley, “Star Trek” actor Zachary Quinto and “Euphoria” star Barbie Ferreira will lead the Broadway cast of “Cult of Love,” a play by “Star Wars: The Acolyte” and “Russian Doll” creator Leslye Headland. Billed as an “equally heartwarming and heartbreaking new play about the things that bind families together… or tear them apart,” the story takes place during the holiday season and follows the Dahls.

Benedict Cumberbatch plays a troubled puppeteer in psychological thriller miniseries Eric.Created by Abi Morgan, the Netflix series follows Vincent Anderson (Cumberbatch) whose young son Edgar goes missing in 1980s New York, which leads him into a spiral of volatile behaviour. Detective Michael Ledroit (McKinley Belcher III) is investigating the case, which strikes the heart of other unsettling crimes within the area.Other cast members include Ivan Morris Howe, Gaby Hoffmann, Roberta Colindrez, Jeff Hephner, Mark Gillis and Dan Fogler.After his son goes missing, Vincent strays further into substance abuse and alcoholism.
