Stacey Solomon left questioning if Joe 'hates her' as habit ‘drives me absolutely mental'
X Factor star Stacey Solomon, 33, has described how one particular habit Joe Swash, 40, has as a parent that leaves her “infuriated”.The star then went on to share that, in spite of this, it was Joe’s approach to parenting that made her fall in love with him. Stacey opened up about her parenting style on the podcast Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe's Parenting Hell a couple of weeks ago. Rob asked Stacey to name the “one thing Joe does that infuriates you with the kids”, as well as the “one thing she loves most” about him as a parent. Stacey is the host of BBC show Sort Your Life Out, where she revamps cluttered homes in the UK with her team in order to change the way families live for the better. Speaking to Rob and Josh about husband Joe, she explained: “The one thing that he does that infuriates me is that he loves to get… stuff. “I hate getting my kids stuff for no reason - unless it’s like a birthday, bar mitzvah or whatever, why are they getting stuff? Do you know what I mean? That’s just life. “You don’t just wake up one day and get stuff unless it’s bills through the post.So I hate that, it drives me absolutely mental!” she added. The pair then went on to ask Stacey what kind of things Joe would buy for the children. “He comes home with absolute rubbish you know?” she complained. “Like a plastic car or, I don’t know, slime, gunk, whatever and I’m like, ‘Why? Do you hate me? What is this?’”Rob then went on to quiz Stacey on whether her grievance was more about the clutter or whether she was worried about her kids being spoiled. “It’s a combination of the two,” she explained.
