Gyeongseong Creature star Han So-hee has denied she was dropped by brands over her relationship with actor Ryu Jun-yeol.Han So-hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment had addressed speculation that the actress was dropped by several brands over her controversial relationship with actor Ryu Jun-yeol.The pair were confirmed to be dating last week, but soon stirred controversy on the internet over rumours that Ryu had started dating Han while still in a relationship with actress Hyeri.Soon after news broke, 9ato Entertainment had confirmed that Han So-hee’s sponsorship deals with soju brand Chum Churum and Nonghyup Bank had expired.“The allegations that actor Han So-hee’s advertisement contracts ended due to the recent issues surrounding the actor’s personal life are completely false,” the agency said, per Korea JoongAng Daily.“The agreement to end Han’s contract for beverage advertisement was made early this year, and for bank advertisement, toward the end of last year,” the agency clarified in its statement.Han So-hee recently starred in the Netflix K-drama series Gyeongseong Creature opposite Park Seo-jun. In a glowing four-star review, NME‘s Rhian Daly called it “a gripping story that’s not for the faint-hearted”.The streaming service has since confirmed that season two of the K-drama series will premiere sometime this year, with both Han So-hee and Park Seo-joon set to return as leads.Meanwhile, Ryu Jun-yeol recently starred in the South Korean film Alienoid: Return to the Future, a sequel to 2022′ Alienoid.

NCT Dream team up with ‘Baby Shark’ creator on English remix of ‘Glitch Mode’
NCT Dream have joined forces with ‘Baby Shark’ creator PinkFong on an English-language remix of their single ‘Glitch Mode’.The K-pop boyband dropped the new ‘Glitch Mode’ remake on May 25 as a collaboration with the children’s entertainment company, which was previously behind the global children’s hit ‘Baby Shark’, alongside an animated sing-along music videos for the track.The music video includes animated avatars of all seven members of the NCT sub-unit, who perform the song alongside PinkFong’s cartoon dinosaur mascot Red Rex. The remix features more upbeat, 8-bit-inspired beats beneath child-like vocals, with NCT Dream heard harmonising in the background.The release of the English remix of ‘Glitch Mode’ marks the second time NCT Dream have released an English version of one of their songs with PinkFong so far – the first time being in May last year when the company also released a similar English remix of their song ‘Hot Sauce’.The boyband have also released two original children’s songs with PinkFong over the last two years, the first being ‘Dinosaurs A To Z’ in May last year, later followed up by the song ‘Baby T-Rex’ earlier this month.Meanwhile, NCT Dream are currently gearing up to drop ‘Beatbox’, a repackaged version of their second studio album ‘Glitch Mode’ and to be led by a title track of the same name.

Wet Leg outselling Father John Misty 4:1 in UK album chart midweeks
Wet Leg are currently leading the pack in the race for this week’s Number One album in the UK.On Friday (April 8), the Isle of Wight indie duo – comprising Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers – released their self-titled debut LP.The 12-track project featured the singles ‘Chaise Longue’, ‘Wet Dream’, ‘Too Late Now’, ‘Oh No’, ‘Angelica’ and ‘Ur Mum’.In the midweeks, the Official Charts Company has revealed that ‘Wet Leg’ is outselling its closest competition – Father John Misty’s ‘Chloë And The Next 20th Century’ – 4:1. If it holds on until Friday (April 15), it will be the band’s first UK Number One album.There are three other new entries – including Father John Misty at Number Two – that have cracked the Top Five in the midweeks: Jack White’s ‘Fear Of The Dawn’ (Three) and Kae Tempest’s ‘The Line Is A Curve’ (Four).Rounding out the rest of the Top Five is last week’s Number One, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘Unlimited Love’.Elsewhere in the Top 10, Camila Cabello’s third album ‘Familia’ sits at Number Seven, while Joe Santriani‘s latest release, ‘The Elephants Of Mars’, is Number Nine.Pavement also look set to make a return to the chart for the first time in 23 years with a reissue of their 1999 album ‘Terror Twilight’.
