Speaking to NME, she reminisced on the fact that four years to the day, she was in the capital for the UK leg of what was supposed to be her first-ever world tour.

Girls Planet 999 competitor Nien (also known as Hsu Nien Tzu) has been revealed as the 13th member of upcoming K-pop girl group tripleS.On March 21, Modhaus shared a video unveiling TripleS’ 13th member Nien, a former contestant on Mnet’s 2021 reality competition series Girls Planet 999. The Taiwanese-Vietnamese singer joins the group’s existing 12 members.The new clip introduces Nien as “S13” before showing several faceless shots of the idol.

Source Music has announced the cancellation of several upcoming promotions for LE SSERAFIM, after Yunjin and Chaewon were involved in a “minor” car accident.The announcement was made on October 19 via the girl group’s official Weverse page. “On Wednesday, October 19, the vehicle carrying LE SSERAFIM members Kim Chae-won and Huh Yun-jin was involved in a minor car accident,” the label’s English statement revealed.

LE SSERAFIM vocalists Huh Yun-jin and Kim Chae-won recently performed one of the act’s upcoming B-sides ‘Good Parts (when the quality is bad but I am)’ with singer-songwriter Salem Ilese.On the October 8 episodes of South Korean music show Music Universe K-909, the two LE SSERAFIM members appeared alongside American singer-songwriter Salem Ilese to perform a new track from the girl group’s second mini-album ‘ANTIFRAGILE’, due out on October 17 at 6PM KST.Titled ‘Good Parts (when the quality is bad but I am)’, the laid-back pop track is the final song on the five-track record, and features lyrics penned by Ilese, Huh and LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura, who was not present for the performance.“I just wanna love myself / When I’m feeling good or bad / I love my weakness / I may not always be glamorous, I may seem a bit plain / But find the good parts the good parts,” they croon on the chorus.Elsewhere in the episode, Kim and Ilese also teamed up to perform the latter’s 2020 hit single ‘Mad At Disney’. “So call me a pessimist / But I don’t believe in it / Finding a true love’s kiss is bullshit,” sings the LE SSERAFIM leader in her lines, which remain true to the original track.In addition to ‘Good Parts’, Huh also wrote lyrics for two other tracks on ‘ANTIFRAGILE’, namely ‘Impurities’ and ‘No Celestial’.

LE SSERAFIM member Huh Yun-jin has released a new self-produced solo track, ‘Raise y_our glass’.The sentimental visual accompanying the release sees Yun-jin recording the track in the studio, along with other clips of her writing the track and embarking on photoshoots and promotional activities with her LE SSERAFIM groupmates.“In this ugly world where the colour is fading / You’re beautiful in every colour and shade / I don’t know if you drink, / But raise a glass to the past in the story of us,” Yun-jin croons in the chorus. ‘Raise y_our glass’ is available to stream on Soundcloud.This isn’t the first time Yun-jin has been credited as a producer on a song.

IZ*ONE vocalist Jo Yu-ri will be releasing new music next month, as confirmed by her agency WAKEONE.The entertainment confirmed Jo’s impending comeback in a brief statement to South Korean news outlet Top Star News earlier today (May 13). WAKEONE noted that the K-pop idol will be “making a comeback with a mini-album in June”, as translated by Soompi.Jo’s forthcoming record will be her first release since making her solo debut in October 2021 with the single album ‘Glassy’.

LE SSERAFIM member Sakura has spoken up about her support for the LGBTQ community and why she does it.During a recent interview with Weverse Magazine, the Japanese K-pop idol discussed a column she had previously written in 2017 about the Japanese drama film Close-knit, in which she had voiced her support for the LGBTQ community.The 2017 movie follows a young girl who is taken in by her uncle and his transgender girlfriend after her mother abandons her. In her review of the film, Sakura had advocated for developing a “better understanding of the LGBTQ community”.In the interview, Sakura spoke about how “there was actually an atmosphere of caution around idols speaking their minds around that time”, yet she though that she “could say that anyway”.She went on to explain that she wanted to use her platform as a celebrity to influence others.

HYBE girl group LE SSERAFIM have set a new first-week sales record with their debut mini-album ‘Fearless’.Today (May 9), Source Music announced that the six member group – comprising Kim Chae-won, Miyawaki Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, Kim Ga-ram and Hong Eun-chae – sold 307,450 copies of their debut record ‘Fearless’ in its first week.LE SSERAFIM are now sixth girl group to ever surpass 300,000 album sales within a week of release, a feat previously achieved by acts such as BLACKPINK, Red Velvet and IZ*ONE. According to the agency, this also makes ‘Fearless’ the highest-selling debut release of by a South Korean girl group of all time.‘Fearless’, which arrived last week, is led by the single of the same title.

LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chae-won has opened up about reuniting with former IZ*ONE bandmate Miyawaki Sakura for the new girl group.In a new interview with Weverse Magazine, Kim spoke about joining Source Music as a member of LE SSERAFIM and working with fellow ex-IZ*ONE bandmate Sakura again. She revealed that the pair had not been particularly close during their time in IZ*ONE, adding that it was “amazing” how they got to know each other after moving to the new agency.Back in 2018, Kim had joined the Mnet reality TV competition Produce 48 as trainee under Woollim Entertainment, while Sakura participated as a member of Japanese girl group HKT48.

IZ*ONE members Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chae-won will return as bandmates in Source Music’s as-yet-unnamed new girl group, the entertainment company has confirmed.On March 14, a representative from Source Music shared a statement confirming that the two idols had signed “exclusive contracts with the agency” and would be joining its upcoming girl group. Notably, the label had reportedly signed the two stars as early as last August, though it did not confirm the news at the time.“Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chae-won have signed exclusive contracts with the agency on the basis of mutual trust.
