Peter Lawwell returns as Celtic chairman and Dermot Desmond hails 'outstanding candidate'
Former chief executive Peter Lawwell has made a sensational Celtic return after being appointed as non-executive chairman at Parkhead. The 63-year-old spent almost two decades in his previous role during a trophy-laden spell for his boyhood heroes. Lawwell stepped down in 2021, initially to be replaced by Dominic McKay whose spell was short-lived, has now returned to succeed Ian Bankier who retired from his position.
