Donny Osmond, 64, has shared some sweet throwback snaps of himself and wife Debbie Osmond, 63, dressed up for Halloween back in 1977.The star went on to reveal that he had got down on one knee to propose “not longer after” that "crazy" evening. Donny took to Twitter today to share the special memories with his 209,100 followers. The snaps saw Donny dressed up as the character Captain Purple from The Donny and Marie Osmond Show.The Osmonds star wore a bright purple superhero costume and curly purple wig. Meanwhile Debbie was all smiles as she donned a large inflatable pumpkin outfit.  Recalling that evening, Donny penned: “This was Debbie and me on Halloween night back in 1977. “I proposed not long after that crazy trick or treat evening,” he continued.“I don't know how she agreed to marry me after she saw me wearing my Captain Purple outfit. “What was I thinking? Oh well, I guess it worked…” Donny quipped.  In a follow-up tweet, he wrote: “Note to all you guys out there.
