The Osmonds, has died at the age of 73.The news was confirmed by his family on Thursday (January 2), who described him as a “beloved husband and father” and said he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and five children.His daughter Amy Cook wrote on Facebook that “his legacy of faith, music, love, and laughter have influenced the lives of many people around the world. He would want everyone to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true, that families are forever, and that banana splits are the best dessert.

Wayne Osmond, who co-founded the Osmonds, scored four Top 10 singles with the group and was a regular on the hit variety show Donny & Marie starring his younger brother and sister, died January 1 after a stroke. He was 73.
