Celebrity Gogglebox – but they might not be returning. The actress, 50, and Nicola first appeared on the show back in 2019 as they sat down to deliver their verdict on the previous week's television. But while fans may have enjoyed seeing them dig into a variety of treats as well as being left speechless by certain television shows or films, they could be left disappointed.During an exclusive chat with Daily Star, Lisa hinted she's not making a return to the popular Channel 4 show.Reflecting on filming the show, she said: "It's quite long but it's not too bad."It's funny because they're like 'Oh this is this bit, watch this and this is nice', they ask what you want."You just sit there and you sort of forget quite quickly that there are cameras on you because you're just watching the telly but it was really fun to be asked – I'd love to do it again, it was great."Shedding light on what it's like to film the show, Lisa admitted that she had no idea what producers were about to show her. The former EastEnders actress explained: "No, they sort of don't say anything, they like to surprise you." Lisa previously reflected on what it's like working with her husband John Torode, admitting the couple "don't separate work and home life" from their TV show.Discussing Weekend Kitchen, she said: "We don't separate it on set, it's just like we're cooking in our kitchen."I think that's what is really funny, when we're on set cooking, we may as well be in our kitchen at home."She continued: "Anyone that comes to our kitchen at home says 'Oh my God' if they've watched the show, they say 'it's just like being at your house.

Holby City's Lisa Faulkner's 'so sad' BBC show is ending after meeting 'best friends'
BBC One prepares to air the last ever episode of Holby City having been on telly screens since 1999.The actress appeared as Pre-Registration House Nurse Victoria Merrick in the first episode way back in 1999, before becoming a surgeon and later left in series three, episode 30 back in 2001.Her character struggled to cope with the high pressure of being in surgery and also struggled to live up to her dad's expectations as he was a well-known surgeon.Despite meeting some of her closest friends on the show and having the time of her life, she requested that her character had a "gruesome death", a decision she says she later regrets.Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star from the Ideal Home Show, she said: "I can't believe they've stopped it, I'm really sad."I met my two best friends on it, we were there on the first day of filming and what an amazing, amazing job it was, it was just so fantastic."To be there at the beginning and to meet my two best mates, I have very fond memories of Holby City and I'm very sad it's over."She went on to add: "I think I was doing it 20 something years ago or something, it's really scary, it was a completely different thing back then, I think it was a real household for years."There's just been so many great people."The mum-of-one continued: "I did the first three series of it, so it was very different – when we first started, we had huge viewing figures, everyone loved it, we were very lucky with the people we worked with."We didn't know it was ever going to last for over 20 years but it's been a lovely show to be a part of."I worked with George Irving who played my dad and he's such a fantastic actor and then Siobhan Redmond, she became my boss when they opened the children's unit."We used

'God he's arrogant!' John Torode's wife Lisa gets candid about their awkward first meeting
MasterChef's John Torode, 56, and wife Lisa Faulkner, 49, admit it wasn’t love at first sight when they first met, as the latter thought he was “arrogant”.They were introduced on the set of This Morning in 1996 when Lisa was being interviewed and John was cooking in the kitchen. The actress said she had noticed his “lovely, dark curly hair”, but did not get the reaction she wanted when she went over to chat to him.The Holby City star explained to The Sunday Times: “I went over to see what he was cooking and said, ‘That looks delicious’."He replied, ‘Yup’, very brusquely.“No acknowledgment, he barely looked at me and I just thought, ‘God, he’s really arrogant’.”After the unfortunate meeting, the pair did not cross paths again for another 13 years. They were reunited when Lisa took part in Celebrity MasterChef in 2010, which she won.Lisa thought John was “still good looking”, but “still arrogant" while taking on the “culinary Simon Cowell role”, as his co-star Gregg Wallace was busy "cracking jokes".John, on the other hand, confessed he was “cowardly” at the start of their relationship. He explained that he was anxious to approach Lisa in case she turned him down, and that after separating from his first wife, he couldn't face another heartbreak. The chef explained: “I’d separated from my wife, which was awful, and I was reluctant to approach Lisa face to face as I didn’t fancy the prospect of her saying no.“So, I wrote her a letter. If I’d got no response, it wouldn’t matter.“Cowardly? Sh**, yeah.
