The 2023 London Marathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday, with 40,000 people heading to the capital to complete the famous 26.2 mile course. Among those taking part will be many famous faces, including the likes of Radio 1's Adele Roberts, The Crown actor Josh O'Connor and musician Marcus Mumford. Each year dozens of celebrities take part in the race, but for some their marathon experience caused controversy or was just complete chaos.

Angelique Jackson Emma D’Arcy, star of HBO’s “House of the Dragon,” has signed with CAA for representation. D’Arcy stars in HBO’s “Game of Thrones” prequel series as Rhaenyra Targaryen, the firstborn child of the king and his heir apparent. The show follows the events leading to the war of succession, known as the “Dance of the Dragons,” which begins the fall of House Targaryen. “House of the Dragon” has been a massive success for HBO, with 9.3 million viewers watching the Season 1 finale, marking the network’s biggest audience since “Game of Thrones.” The series has also garnered critical acclaim, winning best drama series at the 2023 Golden Globes. For their commanding performance, D’Arcy was singled out with a nomination for best actress in a drama series. According to HBO and HBO Max content CEO Casey Bloys, Season 2 is expected in 2024.

Elizabeth Debicki and Dominic West are speaking out about filming season five of "The Crown" and what it was like to recreate some of the royal family's most iconic moments from the 1990s.  Debicki and West took over the roles of Princess Diana and Prince Charles from Emma Corrin and Josh O'Connor respectively, who played the prince and princess in season four.  Season five picks up the story in 1992, the year the two announced their separation, and showcased the royals as they tried to carry on with their lives. Much of their lives post-separation was highlighted in the media through interviews or paparazzi pictures, something Debicki was grateful for.

The Crown will be tackling this storyline after all, it seems.

Titanic star Kate Winslet has apparently been taken to hospital after sustaining an injury while filming on set.

Netflix has cast the roles of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for the upcoming sixth series of The Crown.Two actors, Rufus Kampa, 16, and Ed McVey, 21, will play William, while Meg Bellamy will take on the role of Kate Middleton.The announcement comes ahead of the launch of series five of the popular royal-related drama, which is due to return in November. Both McVey and Bellamy are relative unknowns, and were reportedly selected for the world-famous Netflix show after submitting self-taped auditions for a casting call put out on social media.
