Fans of "American Horror Story" can finally breathe a sigh of relief as details for the show’s eleventh season have finally been announced, including the title, "American Horror Story: NYC." After months of speculation from fans as to what the theme of the upcoming season would be, FX announced Thursday the season will be called "NYC" and will premiere Oct. 19. Two episodes will air on the premiere date, with two episodes airing each Wednesday for the following four weeks.

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Stephen Sondheim’s final musical “Here We Are” is hitting the stage in the fall. The legendary musical theater figure, who composed “Sunday in the Park with George,” “Follies,” “Sweeney Todd” and countless other Broadway classics, died in 2021 at the age of 91. The musical, formerly known as “Square One,” was in the works prior to his death and took inspiration from two Luis Buñuel films, “The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie” and “The Exterminating Angel.” Joe Mantello, whose credits include Sondheim’s “Assassins,” as well as “Wicked” and “Take Me Out,” is directing “Here We Are.” The strictly limited engagement will begin September 2023 in The Shed’s Griffin Theater, an Off-Broadway venue near Manhattan’s Hudson Yards neighborhood. 'American Horror Story: New York City' Teases 'A Season Like No Other'

promises to be “a season like no other.” Ahead of the horror anthology franchise’s return with its 11th installment, FX released a sexy yet creepy teaser for the upcoming, star-studded new season. While no official details for the plot have been released, the teaser appears to be leaning into the BDSM scene and queer culture with New York City potentially inspired by the infamous Al Pacino film,, which was about a serial killer who targeted gay men. The new season also features one of creator Ryan Murphy’s largest LGBTQ casts following and, with Joe Mantello, Zachary Quinto, Russell Tovey, Charlie Carver, Isaac Powell and Denis O’Hare all set to appear in the upcoming episodes.
