Inhaler announce huge Dublin homecoming show with Wet Leg and NewDad

Inhaler have announced details of a massive outdoor gig in their hometown of Dublin this summer, with Wet Leg and NewDad as support.The band will play Fairview Park on June 25 this year, with tickets on sale on Friday (February 18) at 9am GMT here.The show comes on the back of the band’s debut album, ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’, which became the fastest-selling debut album on vinyl by any band this century. It also saw Inhaler become the first Irish band to top the Album Charts with a debut in 13 years – a record previously held by The Script.DUBLIN! We’ll be playing a special one-off show at Fairview Park on Sat 25 June with our friends @wetlegband & @NewDad.

Inhaler performed a cover of Bille Eilish‘s ‘Your Power’ during a Radio 1 live session tonight – you can listen to it below.The Dublin band delivered a set at Maida Vale Studios in London this evening (July 14) in support of their debut album ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’, which arrived last Friday (July 9).Taking to social media, Inhaler said earlier that they would be playing “some tunes from IWABLT and something a little extra” during the special show.The band decided to put an indie-rock spin on Eilish’s ‘Happier Than Ever’ single, blending together electric guitar, keyboards and Eli Hewson’s soaring vocals.

Inhaler have shared the new video for their latest single ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’ – you can watch the clip below.The song will serve as the title track of the Irish band’s forthcoming debut album, which is set for release on July 9.‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’ is a re-recorded version of an early single that was written by Inhaler over four years ago, with the title serving as a mantra for the band as they crafted their debut album during the coronavirus pandemic.“There’s a sense of optimism on this album and the song ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’ is the main catalyst for that,” guitarist Eli Hewson said in a statement.
