Charlie Puth sings ‘Friends’ theme song in honor of Matthew Perry at show

In a TikTok, Puth, 31, can be seen sitting at a piano playing the first verse of the hit NBC show’s theme while fans belt out the words.At the end of the song, the “We Don’t Talk Anymore” singer seamlessly transitioned into the 2015 hit “See You Again,” which was written by Puth and rapper Wiz Khalifa for the film “Furious 7” as a tribute to Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013 shortly after completing the movie.The video, which has been viewed nearly 12 million times, caused several fans of both Puth and Perry to be overcome with emotion.“And then he transitions into ‘see you again,’ ” one fan wrote.
