Paramedics taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' after ambulance involved in crash

Three people - including two paramedics - are in hospital after a private ambulance crashed into another vehicle in Bolton. The smash happened on the A58 in Tonge, at around 2.30pm this afternoon (November 17).

Three people were hurt, with two suffering serious injuries, and another also going to hospital with 'not serious' wounds, police said. At 4.50pm, he tweeted: “Due to a serious RTC, the A58 from Thicketford Road to Abingdon Road Bolton, is closed in both directions, for approximately two hours, please avoid the area.” Get the latest updates
