A paramedic has described the “daunting” moment she rescued a zookeeper who had been mauled by two lions. The victim, identified as 35-year-old Jennifer Brown, is in a critical but stable condition after the attack at Shoalhaven Zoo in New South Wales, Australia.
The two male lions pounced on the experienced cleaner while she was cleaning the enclosure, according to police. Paramedics were called to the zoo at 10.30am local time, where they found the keeper with serious head and neck injuries.
