dailyrecord.co.ukA total of 3,779 people have died of confirmed or suspected coronavirus in Scotland.The figures,updated by the National Records of Scotland (NRS), show that these deaths have been officially recorded as of May 27.The weekly statistics account for all deaths registered in Scotland where Covid-19 is mentioned on the death certificate.
Figures are different to those released daily during the Scottish Government’s press briefing from St Andrew’s House as they account for all suspected and probable cases of the virus in hospitals.
