Manchester United have reportedly entered negotiations for Thiago Almada, who has been tipped to become the next Lionel Messi.
The 19-year-old burst onto the scene with Argentine club Velez Sarsfield to attract attention from a number of giant clubs across Europe.
Almada has scored four goals this season in the Primera Division and is able to operate as a midfield playmaker or winger. He is being monitored by Manchester City as a potential replacement for outgoing star David Silva, while Arsenal are also interested.
Atletico Madrid are also keen on a move, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, but United are in pole position to land the teenager after opening talks.
