Optical illusion baffles as it appears to show different coloured circles

Now if you've got enough patience, the latest image is seriously baffling the internet.The puzzle in question shows eight dots with lines through them that appear to be different coloured circles.Created by University of Texas Professor David Novick, the image is titled Vivid Spheres 9.

But the academic explained that the colour in the illusion doesn't actually differ at all. He wrote: "The spheres appear to be orange and blue but are actually identical, with base colour RGB 220, 255, 187."Zooming out increases the effect."What do you see in this optical illusion?
