2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, suffered a terrifying head injury on Saturday. Evgeni Semenenko was appearing at an event in Russia as Russian athletes have been banned from competing at the World Cup events.
Semenenko attempted a quad jump, but he stumbled on the landing and hit his head on the ice. The 18-year-old attempted to get back to his feet but fell back to the ice twice before a trainer came to aid the star.
Semenenko was stretchered out of the arena in Saint Petersburg and taken to hospital, where he was diagnosed with a concussion.Tatiana Mishina, one of Semenenko's coaches, told TASS: "The diagnosis is a concussion.
He has numerous hematomas on his head, but there are no serious internal injuries."We talked to him. He wanted to surprise, to jump quads, but it was so unfortunate.
