Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Manchester United 'can't hide' their 'need' for Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
Rather surprisingly, Solskjaer remained in charge of United for their trip to Tottenham for this weekend's game following the Reds' humiliation against Liverpool and the Norwegian opted for a formation change for the match, going for the 3-5-2 system.
That meant Ronaldo and Cavani had the opportunity to start together in attack and their partnership proved devastating. Ronaldo scored the game's opener on the stroke of half-time, Cavani doubled the lead and Marcus Rashford scored the third.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tenure as Manchester United manager is looking fragile after the humiliating 5-0 defeat to Liverpool.
