Trevor Sinclair has labelled Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Manchester United as a mistake after the 36-year-old opted for Old Trafford over Manchester City in the summer.
The Portugal captain had been close to signing for the Blues after his time in Turin drew to an end, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side swooped in ending Ronaldo's 12-year stint away from the north west.
For much of their success domestically and the Champions League this season, they have the former Real Madrid attacker to thank, with the latest act of heroism coming against Atalanta as he rifled his volley into the bottom corner to salvage a point in Bergamo.
