Newcastle United have been warned they will be 'forever tainted' if Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman is allowed to buy the club.
The Premier League's executive board and lawyers have spent two months considering whether or not to sanction a £300m takeover.
It has been brokered by Amanda Staveley and is 80pc funded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, chaired by head of state Bin Salman.
A host of objections to the deal which would see unpopular Sports Direct tycoon Mike Ashley sell up have been lodged, including Saudi piracy of Premier League TV games.
