Newcastle's winless run has stretched to 11 games in all competitions after they were beaten 2-1 by Leeds on Tuesday night. Raphinha gave the visitors a first-half lead at St James' Park, and although Miguel Almiron scored a second-half equaliser to end the Magpies' run of 454 minutes without a goal, Jack Harrison netted the winner for Leeds just four minutes later.
The result sees the pressure mount even further on manager Steve Bruce, with his side just seven points off the relegation zone having played two games more than 18th placed Fulham.
