Newcastle boss Steve Bruce is not giving up on Matty Longstaff. The 20-year-old became a free agent this month after talks stalled between the Magpies and his representatives.
Longstaff, who scored the winner on his Premier League debut against Manchester United last year, has attracted interest from home and abroad.
But Bruce is encouraged by the fact the midfielder has yet take up any of the options available to him.Serie A outfit Udinese have offered Longstaff a lucrative package which is worth up to £30,000 a week despite his lack of top flight experience.
