Tottenham would miss out on compensation should Mauricio Pochettino end this season as Newcastle United manager. The Argentinian is just one of the names being touted with the Magpies, despite Steve Bruce reportedly set to be given time under the new ownership.
Pochettino left Spurs in November, being placed on gardening leave as Jose Mourinho replaced him in north London. Under the terms of his exit, Tottenham were due to receive compensation if Pochettino took another job before May 19.
Premier League bosses are now considering a football return in June, meaning should the 48-year-old take the reins on Tyneside, Spurs will miss out on a hefty compensation package.
